What is it?

States must be prepared to support the private-sector business cycles that lead to swings in unemployment services.  Unemployment insurance centers should be easily accessible, payments should be efficiently distributed and fraudulent requests should be quickly identified.  States should also have programs to support retraining,  job placement and Human Services access.

What have we done?

For the State of Oregon, we fully audited and helped hire new leadership for the State’s employment organization.  We also conducted security, disaster recovery and network assessments for Oregon’s employment placement and training vendor.  TrueCourse helped the State of California’s employment agency re-architect and implement their new 17 call center support and on-line unemployment insurance system as the lead System Engineer, Organizational Change Management lead, Test lead and Integration planner.  We also led the procurement for a new disability insurance automation system.
